The 2nd International Conference on Food-omics (www.foodomics.eu) was held in Cesena (Italy) on the 22-24 June 2011. It was organised by the University of Bologna and consisted of 4 sessions (Omics Sciences for Food; Food for Optimal Nutrition; Food for Wellness; and, Industrial Food Improvement) and 33 oral presentations and 137 registered attendees.
