Jenni Lappi got the young investigator award of EASD

Jenni Lappi, PhD student of Food and Health Research Centre at University of Kuopio, was awarded the young investigator award during the 26th Symposium of the Study Group on Diabetes and Nutrition of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD). The symposium was held in Varna 26-29.6.2008, and the title of Jenni´s lecture was "Sourdough fermentation of wholemeal wheat bread produces lowered postprandial glucose and insulin responses in subjects with insulin resistance".
