Welcome to have a look at the completely renewed website about the health aspects of rye based foods www.ryeandhealth.org. The site aims to provide a quick review on the most important scientific findings and other info related to the health effects of rye foods.

The website was generated within the Nordic GRAINITY network, which is a scientific discussion forum to assist in development of functional whole grain, rye and oat food products. The network is financed by the Nordic Innovation Centre and Nordic cereal industry, and will also present the Nordic research at a satellite symposium: "Nordic experience and approaches on using grains for health" on 25 March 2009 in Newcastle in connection to the international congress "Whole Grain Summit" (http://www.cerealsandeurope.net/scientificprogramme/)
