Having educational background in plant biology, Ulla has expertise in cereal structure, physiology, and biochemistry. She has been working in projects on cereal processing, especially related to malting and brewing. Ulla has expertise also in analysis of different food matrices by microscopical techniques including light, epifluorescence and confocal microscopy.
