Curriculum Vitae

Raija-Liisa's field of competence is in sensory flavour design of especially cereal materials. Her research interest includes study of flavour formation and tailoring of perceived flavour by bioprocessing techniques through understanding chemistry behind the flavour. This is also the topic of her PhD thesis and of several of her nearly 30 peer-reviewed publications. She has experience as a project leader or partner in numerous national and international projects on this field, and is the ex-chairman of ESN (European Sensory Network).
