Curriculum Vitae

Arja has broad expertise in food microbiology. Her particular expertise is in cereal microbiology and utilization of multifunctional microbial cultures to improve safety, structure and nutritional properties of plant-based bioproducts. Furthemore, she has 15-year experience in malting and brewing research. Arja has worked in many industry-driven projects and has actively participated in several national and international projects related to microbes in plant-based bioprocesses.
